There's nothing quite as challenging as fitting a big show in a small space. Our solution? To move out of the too-small
ballroom, use the parking lot and tent it! Not only did we create a look and feel reminiscent of the Cirque du Soleil
shows, we created it in the round. Now, rather than having the last seat 30 rows from the stage, it was only six, so all
400 Cadence salespeople had a perfect vantage point and felt part of the action. It became a big show with an intimate feel.
Besides being ultimately functional, the WOW factor was huge.
Since this was staged in Phoenix, we needed air conditioning, not to mention seating risers and a suspended lighting grid.
The enormous logistical challenges required major juggling by our crack tech team. Serious scrambling was required when
we were asked at the last minute, to roll a Porsche out onto the stage from the raised audience risers. No challenge too
daunting, the rollout was executed perfectly with a burst of smoke and lights but no mirrors. It brought down the house.
We worked closely with Cadence executives to help them adapt to the in-the-round staging and they came through like pros.
The spectacular venue also proved ideal for the comedy and talent performances that closed the awards evening while the
four video screens allowed everyone to have great views of all graphics and videos.
As Executive Producer, Jerry Bagger hired an experienced team to provide this project with valuable assistance in a relatively
short production period. This show truly qualifies as one-of-a-kind event.
